Re: Work out videos
I love the Billy Blanks videos, especially Tae Bo. I ALSO really like the New York City Ballet Workout...most of it's pilates, but you do a lot of leg work as well.START 8/16/06 @ 270+~MG1: 220-12/2/06~MG2: 210-1/07~MG3: 199-3/2/07~MG4: 190-4/27/07~MG5: 180-7/04/07~GOAL: 170

Re: Work out videos
Here is my top three that I cannot live without:
"Kathy Smith Lift Weights to Lose Weight." This is a 40 minute video, 20 minutes upper body, 20 minutes lower body. Every muscle group is worked, and exercises can be modified to match your fitness level. It's intense, and I love it. I do this one twice weekly.
"Basic Ab Workout for Dummies". This video has a long ab session, and a short session.
"Yummy Yoga" by Christia Rypins. This video is absolutely incredible for relaxation, expecially for back pain. I have suffered with minor back pain for some years, it was gone after two sessions of Yummy Yoga.
I also occasionally do the "Fun Circuit Super Speed Weight Loss with Sunshine" to mix up the weights. The music is horribly annoying, so I just turn the volume down and play my own music to it.

Re: Work out videos
Cathe is daBOMB!
My favorite workout series':
Slim In Six - It's the one I go back to time and time again.
Turbo Jam - It's a total sweat fest. Fantastic cardio and good muscle toning!
Project: YOU! - It's done by Kathy Smith and it's a really great, well rounded, comprehensive workout series. It's a total of 7 workouts and they're great stuff.
Slim Series- This is the next step up from Slim In Six and it's a BUTT KICKER!
More beginner type workouts that I really like:
Walk Away The Pounds - Any and all of them are great!
Zumba - It's just plain fun and it's good cardio.
Pilates and/or Yoga: There are a million different workouts. I like Pilates and Yoga for Dummies and I really like Winsor Pilates too. It's not a cardio workout though - but they're great for toning.
Me? I'm anxiously awaiting Hip Hop Abs from Beach Body! heh heh It will be mine. Ohhh yes. It WILL be mine. Mwahahahahahaha

Re: Work out videos
Now see, it's post like these I get to see what's new! Thanks for asking!
I though Gilad was, you know, gone? Nice to see the guy still going strong.
Okay, so now I have to go and search out what the Hip Hop vid is going to be...I've almost mastered Turbo Jam.
I'm a fan for searching through somebodies leftovers at the thift store, and a sucker for ones that only cost $1! I totally suggest checking out those places if you can
.
TaeBo
WATP (1, 2, 3 miles) and Walk & Kick and Express
Turbo Jam
Slim in 6
Power 90 Circuit 1-2 Sculpt
It's not a bad thing to own so many exercise videos, right?
I'm thinking it could be considered having a buffet of choices.

And no. That's not all of them. LOL heh heh heh (The pic was too big to put in here, so I just linked to it.)
If you see something on there and have questions, give me a shout. I've done everything on that shelf several times!
Lisa- Hip Hop Abs is going to be BeachBody's newest release. It's not on the main page though, but if you use the drop down menu on the main page where you can look at all the programs, it's listed there and you can check it out.

Re: Work out videos
Here's my morning thought....exercise videos are a worthy investment to provide choices in order to encourage and motivate the mind, soul, and body to burn calories and live a healthy life. (yep...sounds good to me...LOL).
Brook...I googled Hip Hop Abs and came up with YBB, and when I saw that you have that one in your library, I'm thinkin' it's a different one. Hmmm...time to go do some more time on the BB board. I love reading all the reviews of different videos...gives my brain something to do while in between life and reality. LOL...
Anyways...thanks for sharing all the different videos. I've got some Substituting money coming next week and I've already spent it 3 times in my head! lol.
