    Husband home news!!

    Sorry I didn't check in. I left you guys hanging. My husband didn't recognize me initially. I was walking up the brow of the ship with my daughter. He thought I was just a woman who cut in front of his wife! Then it registered that it was me and then he thought I was wearing an outfit that was flattering. It finally sank in that I lost 35 pounds since he left, he blushed and said, "How much weight did you lose?! I can't believe you didn't tell me!" Later, he said he didn't know which was harder, losing 35 pounds or not telling him about it! It was a great homecoming!

    Again, I'm sorry I didn't post right away. Here's some pictures of the big day! Thank you everyone!!

        U really look brilliant i am so happy that ye had a good homecoming!! Really hope he doesn't have to go back out again for a good while any way!!! We were all dying to know what happened!!!

            hey lemme ask ya, though......during the time it took you to lose that weight, 35 pounds or so....what kind of exercise did you do, any? if you did, which exercise did you consider most helpful in burning calories and keeping your metabolism up?

                WOW..Ok, so I'm a wimp but my eyes teared up when I saw the photo of you and your family the day he got back. How awesome!! And WOW...you look great...YOU DID IT!!! Enjoy your family and have a beautiful Christmas! God Bless you guys!

                    Exercise really helped speed it up for me. I started at the gym with a class called turbokick. Then I added a weightlifting class called Bodypump. Now, I make sure that I do something (cardio, weights or running) at least 3 times a week.

                        Thank you so much for sharing with us. Your whole family is just beautiful and that hubby is really handsome. Now is the time to sit for a family portrait (says the professional photographer in me). Okay, I'm teary-eyed now, so I'll leave you to get back to your happy and healthy family.

                          Thanks for the fuzzy feeling this morning. I was raised in the Army (my dad still works for them even though he's retired) and I understand the whole thing. You were strong, you had a goal and you did it. I'm so very PROUD OF YOU.
