Sweetener free taco mix
Yes we can have tacos on bootcamp if we can eat them without sour cream. But a taco salad with lots of lettuce, some tomato, cheddar cheese, and sugarfree salsa (read the label carefully) can be good
From LindaSue's collection of recipe here is a taco mix (the store bought ones are full of sugar and carbs!!!)
1 t. chili powder
3/4 t. paprika
3/4 t. cumin
1/2 t. onion powder
1/2 t. salt
3/8 t. garlic powder
pinch cayenne
You can double or triple the recipe and keep some in a jar for next time

wow good catch - that looks very strange indeed.
I will fix it
Thanks for adding the links J
I did not mean the sauce I am talking about the mix
It still bugs me how many carbs there are in those commercial mixes so this is great thing to make and store for those of us who like taco salad and I love it

thanks for the clairifcation liv. I thought that is what you meant, but just wanted to make sure I was not losing my mind.
I also love taco salad, but i don't buy them because taco bell alwats add extra. I can make this one and not feel so guilty.
thanks again.

I was just about to ask about sour cream, since its on the 'legal' list. I just found a thread about how much a serving of sour cream was. That's good info to have. Time to get rid of the sour cream
