I have to admit... fitday confuses me. I also looked at one large egg. It says .61. I wonder... The egg I chose was "egg, whole, raw." Kind of weird that we are using the same program and getting different information. The calories I got were 74. Is your egg a custom food that you entered directly from the package?

I don't know how to do a screen shot, but I am definitely coming up with something different than you.

One thing I have learned from fitday is that I double check the actual box or package because fitday is often different in their calculations. I actually haven't done that with the eggs, but with lots of other things. I guess it depends on which brand and stuff... they are all a little different.

OH! wow, you're right. I was looking under scrambled, cooked but when you enter it as whole, raw it's different! That's a BIG difference though. I'm going to have to do some more research! Let me know if you see anything more definite and I'll report what I find too!

Yay!! You're right! Wow. Thanks for bringing it up. This makes me distrustful of fitday now though. I guess I'll have to double check things just in case from now on. I checked on the Atkins carb counter site. Here's a link:

http://www.atkins.com/carb-counter/?category=Eggs

.6 for a large egg!

I've been thinking about it and I entered my eggs as 1 large egg scrambled.....I didn't think it would make a difference. There's no additional ingredients listed for it, so I thought it would be the same as raw. It's really weird. Officially though the count is .6. Just one of the many reasons why Love this website.

I made the quiche this morning. Omg... so delicious. I was really getting sick of scrambed eggs and hard boiled eggs. Great recipe. Great change!

I am glad it turned out to have lower carbs.

I used my revised recipe with the mushrooms, hot turkey sausage, and I even added some basil. I sauteed the mushrooms first. It turned out so great. I loved the flavor. Honestly, I felt like I was cheating. lol But it was a 4 carb breakfast.
