Default Roasted Red Skin "Potatoes" anyone?

I made this from Linda's site, and just incase you guys haven't stumbled upon it...

Mock Red Skin Potatoes

She says only put in salt, pepper, oil, and butter. But!
I added italian seasoning and garlic powder and it was delish!

Then, I was thinking... I wonder if I put these in the toaster oven to crisp up the outside again now that the whole thing is soft... And, yeah, do that. Amazing!

I made this back in the day. I added diced leftover corned beef to make "red flannel hash". It was much better than I expected.

i really disliked this recipe honestly. the texture and flavor is really nothing like potatoes, its more like some sort of weird fried squash thing. im not a stranger to radishes, i like them raw, but that was the last time i'll try to cook them. bleh.

I fry radishes and onions then add meat (canned corned beef, roast beef whatever I have on hand) and make hash out of it. Or I just fry radishes and onions and eat them when my family eats fried potatoes w/onions.....I don't miss them a bit!

SO, when you fry the radishes, do they lose that sharp flavor?
