| Are your soggy? I made them the other day and they were soggy. They did taste like potatoes though, I just missed the crispy crunch.

| I am trying to learn how to cook some interesting new dishes ,a new one each week, because I was getting tired of my menu. I made this on Sunday, but I must have done something wrong...they tasted like mushy, buttery, turnips. Maybe the pan wasn't hot enough to make them crunchy. Oh well, a cook I am not! Any suggestions to make them better, anyone?

| You have to squeeze all liquid out of the turnips. And your oil needs to be darn tootin' hot before you add the turnips Hope that helps! Kimberly |

| Yes, definitely squeeze all the water out. Then squeeze again. I dried mine thoroughly between paper towel layers before putting them in the pan. Okay, a little more effort, but they won't be soggy. Betty
