6WEC#45 will begin on Sunday, June 29 and runs through Saturday, August 9.

Sign up!
1. Tell us how many days a week you plan to exercise.
2. Make a note of your beginning measurements. You do not have to post them here if you aren't comfortable doing that. Just be sure to write them down someplace safe to compare with your measurements at the end of the challenge. Click here for a picture that shows you where to measure. The following stats are the only ones that will be considered for the ribbon awards.

-Under arms, around chest
-Fullest part of chest
-Ribcage
-Waist
-Hips
-Upper arm x 2
-Thigh x 2
-Weight

Don't forget to check in!
1. Look for the thread each day in this forum. It will be titled something like "6WEC#45, Week 1, Day 1, Sunday, June 29"
2. Tell us whether you exercised, took a rest day or a sick day.

Win something!
1. The 3 Challengers who lose the most will earn a ribbon. Its determined first by inches and then by pounds.
2. Those who complete all 6 weeks of the challenge without getting slugged will earn a slug free button. Sick days do not count as slugs.

i can't hardly believe this is the 45th challenge. unbelievable!

i can't do much but hopefully will be able to grow stonger throughout this challenge. i'm commiting to 4 days a week. .

btw, i'll be your fearless leader through this challenge and it's good to be back. .

i want to say THANK YOU to Elizellen who did a fantastic job leading this last challenge. it was all new to her and she did it during a board upgrade.

I'm signing up! This will be my first time doing a challenge so I will apologize in advance if I screw something up. I'll get my DH.. uh maybe my daughter.. uh maybe I'll just attempt it myself lol... to measure all the areas needed. I already measure my waist hips and rib cage and use them as guides. I should have measured the others before I started and I am kicking myself for not doing it. I also have to get a good before pic on here! Oh! Please tell me what a slug represents!

welcome to your first challenge! trust me, even if you do screw up, you ain't the first, nor the last. we can fix most screw ups anyway, so there's nothing to worry about.

slug.... it's what you get if you don't accomlish your weekly commitment. for example, if you pledge to exercise 5 days a week and you end up with 3 rest days, one of the rest days will be a slug. in other words, if you took 3 rest days there's no way you could exercise 5 days.
if you get even one slug during the 6 weeks of the challenge, you can not earn the slug free button. you can, however, still be able to win a first, second or third place ribbon in spite of the slug.

don't forget to tell me how many days a week you are pledging.

Wow - I managed to sign up on the first day (usually don't notice till the challenge has already started ;()

I am in for 4/7 again. i was going to try upping it but with Sam not mobile I don't think I can this time.
