| I love these!! I have never liked green beans, but these are so yummy!! I fry them with a little garlic, and they are one of my favorites. They look weird, but taste so good.

| This probably makes no sense (too much water), but could I do this with frozen french cut green beans? I could bake them I guess....

| Yes, you could do them on a cookie sheet! They are so yummy, I love throwing a little garlic in with them (if you have it). I hope you make it till Friday!

| I've just tried fresh ones because of the water...but like sunflower said, you could bake them which would dry up the water some. My hubby practically begs me to make them now. I have done asparagus in the oven....cook them until the tips are crunchy and they are sooooooooo good. One day maybe I'll try to fry them too. LOL What I like about frying the green beans is that you get the flavor of deep fried french fries...without the carbs. They'll actually get kinda crispy. Then the oil and salt flavor too.

| Well, I just baked them in my toaster oven for like 10 minutes and then I got lazy and hungry, but seriously, these were SO MUCH BETTER THAN MICROWAVING. I did sprinkle a little bit of garlic powder and then dressed them with a tiny amount of ranch dressing and now I'm EXCITED to eat green beans at every meal.

| Can't wait to try these...I tried french fried jicama. All I can say is yuk...I fried them very dark and they were still crunchy inside like a raw potato and limp. No crunch whatsoever. The taste was so so. I don't think this is my thing. Now I have 1/2 a large jicama and do not know what to do with it, because I don't like it raw either. Any suggestions? I will try anything.

| Pam, try this....slice the jicama in really thin slices like potato chips, and then fry them...yes, for a very long time, until brown. Dry them on paper towels and season with something. I put some BBQ dry rub spice on them and they tasted almost exactly like BBQ potato chips. They don't get super crispy, but they are much better than when thick-sliced like fries.
