| each muffin has 4 tablespoons of flax seedmeal in it so if you had 1/2 of one you could eat them on induction fior movement if your protein powder is a protein isolate type during induction. once you get constipated on induction you can use flax as a fiber to prevent it happeneing again too.

| If you're on induction it might be a good idea to leave out the Splenda that I added. There's too much math involved for me to figure out how many servings 1/8th cup of a Splenda divided by 12 muffins would be.

| I made myself a flax muffin today, I really liked it. I used the microwave recipe from Linda's lo-carb, but essentially it's the same thing. for one muffin 3 tablespoons flax meal 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon baking powder* 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon splenda 2 teaspoons cinnamon * I make my own baking powder with 2 parts cream of tartar and 1 part baking soda. If you're using it right away, cornstarch isn't necessary. Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl for about 10 seconds. Use one that will be large enough for your ingredients to fill it about 1/3. Stir in the flax meal, then the egg, then the baking powder, cinnamon and splenda until it is well blended. Scrape the sides. Microwave about one minute or until the center is set. The muffin will rise above the edges of the bowl and settle when you turn the microwave off. Let it sit a minute, remove from container, let cool a little and eat it. It was very good, a nice cinnamon flavor, but not too much. It was a little heavy, I think I could eat half at one sitting and another half later. Tasted like a whole grain muffin. The total count for one muffin was 384 calories 35g fat 12g total carbs (4 net) 11g protein It would be great with a protein to balance out a good percentage for one meal.

| I really like the flaxmeal muffin microwave recipe from Linda's lo-carb (above) and instead of cinnamon i sometimes use Ginger which is really nice! |

| This is very good with cocoa in it too. Have to add a bit more Splenda with the cocoa.
