Default peanut butter and jelly

I just had an idea today to put a low carb tortilla on my panini maker and lightly toast it. Then I put a thin layer of peanut butter and jelly on it. It was really good! I definitely miss sandwiches so this was a nice change from eating meat all the time.

Wow, I hope some day I can eat peanut butter and jelly. Don't think it will ever happen, but one can dream

I get the sugar free jelly and sugar free peanut butter. It has very low carbs. It hasn't stalled me or anything but we're all different.

I'm still doing induction and haven't gotten to the peanut rung or fruit rung either. How many carbs does the jelly have, if you don't mind me asking. Also I'll bet there is wheat flour in the tortilla. Some day

I use the Mission Carb Balance Tortillas which have 7 net carbs (but yes they do have wheat flour). I use the Schmuckers sugar free jelly. The jelly says for the serving size it has 5 carbs but I barely put any on at all-- just enough for a little taste of it. I'm thinking I used maybe 3 carbs. All I know is that I ate that for dinner last night along with some veggies later on and I lost a pound since yesterday! Good luck to you. I promise that once induction is over you will be able to eat a wide variety of things. I have been doing this for 3 1/2 months and it gets easier and easier for me. If you have any questions let me know!
