| Canned tuna, canned salmon, canned chicken, sardines, etc. are all great things to have for "emergency" food! Whenever my co-workers order from a sandwich place, I usually save whatever unopened packets of mayo (and mustard) they try to throw away and stash them in the office frig----for emergency foods. Also a can of green beans or other legal veg isn't bad to have around either.

| Not2Late, I buy the little single serving cans of green beans with the pop top. I never thought of including them in my portable food stash! Thanks! |

| here are a few other suggestions for "emergency" foods: celery sticks, string cheese, radishes, broccoli, cauliflower. You might also want oget a small container of dip (french onion, ranch, party, etc) and a bottle Ranch dressing for other things to dunk your foods in.
