| Would tea period, as as long as its decaf? I'm dying for a cup of pepperment or chamomile tea. Or what about the other 'herbal' combinations like Sleepytime or TensionTamer. Which brings up another question: Is there a difference between decaffinated and 'naturally caffine free"? I reread DANDR, remembering a section in there on herbs, but they were more the spices. Any ideas/opinions would be appriciated. Its been a very unpleasant experience having to give up my english teas (earl grey, etc) due to caffine and the desire for sugar so I'd LOVE to be able to drink something other than water

| you can do decaf green tea. I happen to be drinking some now. It still has about 2mg of cafffeine though. The normal green tea has 40mg. Green tea has great anti-oxidant and appetite decreasing and metabolic rate increasing powers. There are a lot studies on the net... Also.. I found that you *can* do caffeine on atkins but your mileage may vary. I actually kicked it out of my diet altogether and it was a great decision. I feel much bettter and have a lot more energy.
