| Welcome to the boards, Yoji! I find that if I drink diet cokes a lot, it does stall my weight loss a lot. However, my boyfriend drinks diet cokes all the time (he's on atkins too), and he is still managing to lose weight. So I would try not to drink them, but if you slip up now and then, it's not the end of the world. If you stop losing weight though, then you will know if your metabolism can handle them or not.

| Welcome to the board! Tsk, tsk, you're not supposed to have alcohol until rung 5 on OWL, definitely not on induction. OK now that the required scolding is over, you'll probably be fine. But just keep in mind that your body will burn all of the alcohol off for energy before ANY fat is burned. Just something to keep in mind for next time. But for the record I enjoy an occasional rum & coke myself. Good luck!
