Default Returning after 4 years

:wave

Hi everybody! I did Atkins 4 years ago and got below my goal weight. I've gained some weight since my father died last August, so I'm in this way of life once again. I have about 15-20 pounds to lose. I started induction yesterday and am already have hot flashes today. Must be in ketosis already! I haven't made it to the store to get the strips yet :yes I have so much knowledge of this way of eating, so if anyone needs help, please let me know. I've read all the books and swear by this. There is no other way to get the weight off and keep it off. I eat to lose, but yes, I miss the sweets too. I can't wait 13 days til I can have my hamburger pizza......but I am enjoying my loaded omelets for breakfast though. I just need some ideas for lunches as I eat a late breakfast. Yesterday it was cheese and pepperoni and about 10 pumpkin seeds. I really need to boost that food intake, just looking for ideas first. So, can't wait to meet you all!

:wave Welcome to ha For lunch how about a salad? There's so many different ways to make a salad you can have a lot of fun with that. Sounds like you really know your stuff though so sorry if that's not much help, just wanted to welcome you to the board! :joy

Weighed in this morning, down 3 pounds. Guess I did remember how wonderful that feeling is. Stomach is shrinking already, can't eat more than one burger and my salad. Family had pizza tonight, I fried a burger and put cheese and sausage on mine and just a teaspoon of sauce ( I don't care for pizza sauce much) . Yummy, but only could fit half my salad in. Tomorrow is weekly lunch date with hubby, quiznos, can't wait to have a salad there!

That's me and my beer during WOL the first time around. I can't believe how many more foods I'm finding this time around. I like beer, just don't drink it much anymore since dart season ended and we moved to NC from NY. BTW I love the new Land O Lakes heavy whipped topping with slenda........no carbs!
