| Wow...52lbs!! That's awesome!!! Here's a dancing banana just for you! One thing I do if I feel myself slipping is to remember back to the days and weeks when I first started. How much better I felt...the weight coming off and etc. You might want to check out the STAC (second time around club I think is what it means) they have some great threads there. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...splay.php?f=82Even though I've never officially gone off Atkins I like reading their threads. I find lots of new ideas and strategy there and the people are super nice. You can do this! Look how far you've come! You're already 1/2 way there! Kudos to you!

| 52 pounds is awesome! Congratulations. I got a red-flag when I read your post though, when you said you can't seem to get back into the swing of things. I've found that I can never ever quit my WOE. No matter where I go or what I do, I plan my meals first thing. My new WOL has become my #1 priority. I am still a great mom, wife and friend to all. In fact, I am a better person because I am happier and healthier. If I had one piece of advice for anyone who is just starting this WOE, it would be to PLAN. Never quit for an hour, a day or a week. There are too many substituions to the HIGH CARB foods that we can make that will satisfy our cravings. I eat pizza (Atkins way), rice (Atkins way), lasagna (Atkins way), dessert (Atkins way). For everything High carb, there is a low-carb version that can be made. Congratulations on your loss and hope you get your motivation back!! You are worth it. Your life can be so much more if you look good and feel better about yourself. |
