| Mira g89, welcome to the ADBB. You're already on a good start if you've quit eating the breads and pastas. If you haven't read the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, edition 2002 book, then please do that. It is the guide that is used here to make sure we are doing Atkins right. As you will see from reading the book, it is important to exercise, drink lots of water and take vitamin supplements to keep your body performing properly. Everyone here is great for lending support and motivation. Best wishes and keep us posted. You can do it.

| Welcome aboard Mira. Glad you found us and joined. This is a very supportive group and I think you will enjoy both us and this board. One great thing about Atkins is you will not feel deprived. We can eat just about anything, we just have to change the recipe a bit. The best advise that I've ever gotten here is to get a copy of the book and read it cover to cover, cause the fastest way to lose is to follow it to the letter.
