| Welcome!! You'll love it here. Atkins is easy to stick to and you will NOT be hungry, or tired, or overemotional. I gained weight after an accident to both Achiles tendons 9 years ago and have lugged it around all that time. Silly me! I began Atkins on 10 September at 108kg (240lbs). I lost 11 kg (almost 25 lbs) in induction,and hav lost a kg (2.202 lb) per week since. And that was with not much exercise. This week I joined the gym and have been every morning - oh my legs ache! Some tips - Induction is boring. Just keep saying "I an do anything for just 14 days". You can, you know. Eat lots of fresh veggies and nice fresh meat. Keep a food journal, I use an exercise book. Weigh weekly only. Measure your self before you start (yes, I hated doing it too! What a horrible shock!). Then remeasure once a month or so. I've lost 8" from bust, 3" from waist and 5" from my big bum! I can fit into clothes I haven't worn for 6 or 7 years. Put a now picture up - a nice unflattering one, and a photo of a swimsuit you'd like to be able to wear (look in a catalogue). Kitchen or bathroom are good places. It will really help keep you on the straight and narrow. You'll really appreciate losing the weight when chasing those toddlers. Stick with it, if I can do it anyone can. Good luck!
