| JM, Welcome to the group! Please join us in the newest 6 week challenge and let us all know how you are doing each day. I encourage you to drink your water (repeat H2O is my friend to yourself), eat only induction food and exercise. Also, if you like to chat, start yourself a journal so you can track your progress and others can help you out too. You can do it and you will be a shining example of health for your family. | I think you are making a good choice with the Atkins. I have been doing Body for life for some time and my weight has come to a standstill. i have been busting my @$$ at the gym and nothing. i decided to try atkins and within the first week of induction- which was about 2 weeks ago, i could see results. i have also discovered that i have candida- the info is in the book, high yeast growth, so by illiminating many of the carbs you are allowed on bfl i was able to lose weight. i also have 2 girls, the baby will be 1 on nov 30th which is another reason, like you, that i want to lose the weight. i am new at this too, but seeing results and everyone here is really nice.
