Smile Ready for results

Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum and would like to begin the Atkins approach with a support system to reach my goals. I actually started my efforts 2 weeks ago when I realized I couldn't fit into my fall clothes. I have undergone some big changes in my life recently (got married, moved to a new town, gave up my job from my old town to be jobless, bought a home) and with the changes managed to pack on 15 pounds. I have really been trying in the last 2 weeks to exercise and eat healthy but I have not seen any results . I am really starting to become disappointed and I hope that I will start to see some changes soon before the urge to give up takes over. I look forward to getting to know you and sharing ideas!!!
Here's to a new start!!

Hey,

Welcome to the group!

Did you start atkins 2 weeks ago or just a general low calorie diet?

If you just starting atkins today I can assure you, in 2 weeks you will see a big difference!

Keep exercising!

good luck

Hi Everyone!
Thank-you all for all the wonderful support and suggestions so far. I wasn't on Atkins two weeks ago, I was just trying to adjust to the decaf and no sugar in my tea. I think I'm almost there....now I substistute corn at dinner for sugar JenDoe I couldn't help but notice that you are the same age, height and started at the same weight that I am at. That's really inspiring to me...Any tips to get started!

Corn? I am confused. Corn is totally not allowed on induction. Are you trying to just cut back on carbs or are you going into induction?

Dear Flab! You can do this if you put your mind to it! You don't have much to lose compared to some of us including myself, so I'm sure you can do this!
