| Hello and welcome! I'm not as familiar with the aspects of weight loss as a lot of the others here. I can say that the last time I did induction, I lost 17 pounds in the first 2 weeks.

| Amy, its really hard to say, The good doctor said that you should lose 5 to 10 percent of what you want to lose during induction, so if you want to lose 100 pounds, you can just about bet that you'll lose 5 to 10 pounds on induction. I see that you don't have a great deal to lose, but its all relative. BTW we have a long time member who lost a lot of weight as a vegetarian on this board, pasta wasn't a choice but there are lots of vegetarian menus as long as you can eat eggs and cheese. |

| Welcome. Everyone loses at different speeds and amounts. It depends on your body and your metabolism. If you exercise and drink lots of water...you will probably lose faster and more than if you don't. Take your measurements and do the induction for at least two weeks. You will lose weight and inches. Best wishes, keep us posted on your success!!
