| I had a baby girl on sept 22nd, i went from 170 to 210, im back down to 190 but im having trouble losing the weight, i started induction last week, ive been on it for 6 days and today i failed and had 2 english muffins for breakfast, my baby was sick all week, ive barley slept and i was to tired to cook, the first week gave me headaches and i felt tired, is this normal? will it go away ? The book said id get lots of energy, is this after the 14 days? Im starting again today, the muffins totaled 5o carbs, i feel so ashamed at myself. sometimes i wish i was rich and could afford a cook lol , anyways wish me luck.

| Hi Phenox It sure takes it out of you the first few months after having a baby doesn't it.......I have been blessed with an extremely good baby (so far) who goes straight to sleep 9 times out of 10 when put down and is now sleeping though the night from 7.30pm to 6.30am which is when I get up in the morning to get ready for work so the timing is working really well. I've been able to start back on Atkins induction due to not being able to breastfeed. The energy levels will increase but I found with being so busy that I was skipping snack times and that resulted in lower energy - I am guessing from sugar levels going all over the place. Also, if I don't go out for even a 15 minute walk I get very sluggish for the rest of the day. Don't berate yourself too much about the muffins.....there aren't many people that can put their hands up and say they haven't eaten something they shouldn't have. The main thing is to accept it and move on - we can't move forward if we are always looking at the past. Enjoy your baby - I hope she is over her illness and that you are feeling better yourself soon. Vina

| Welcome back, and congratulations on your baby boy! I too had a c-section and they are tough. Great job on getting yourself back on track! You can do it! Phenox, keep in mind that it can take up to 3 regular TOM cycles, before your hormones adjust and go back to normal. Just keep at it, and it will come off, I promise. It took me longer, but it fixed itself.

| thank you, baby is doing ok, she only sleeps 1 hour at a time, so ive not had a good nights sleep in 3 months lol, you are lucky. I'm not mad at my slef no more about the muffuns, i'll just try harder this time, I got her some medicine from the doctor to help her sleep, so maybe now i can get sleep to and have time to cook. :}
