Default The Incredible Weight Fluxuating Woman

Megan
F 21 5'8'' a whopping 238 lbs, it really is disgusting thinking that someone could every let themselves get to be that big. I mean it really does happen overnight. I remember being able to pull my size 4 jeans of without unbuttoning them 7 years ago. I know I was only 14 then, but who doesnt want to go back to the point they were the smallest. Back in high school I had an extremely high metabolism and lots of energy, I was very self-conscious about my appearance and the 2 pimples I would get occasionaly, so the dermatologist put me on accutane, a relatively new acne pill that had terrible side effects, some of the side effects were, severe depression, crators popping out of your face, raised cholesterol and lowered metabolism and weight gain. I got them all, and the weight gain was the worst part. I went from 124 lbs to 225 in less than 3 years. That is a significant amount of weight to gain in such a short time. When I was 18 I went on a summer trip to Europe with my best friend which had to be cut early becuase from the luck of the God's I got tonsilitis (which I wish I could have again). It caused me to drop 40 pounds which I thought was great, so here I am on the track to losing the weight, but low and behold another hurdle, I step into the wrong profession....bartending. The late hours, the great money and the terrible food caused to to gain it all right back. I was at my worst so decided to move again. I lost 50 pounds while I was in Houston and thought it was wonderful, my life was great, my friends were great, but then.........................Through the great mystery of the universe something happened that I knew would change my life and my body forever......yep you guessed it, a beautiful unexpected pregnancy. SO now what to do? I moved home to washington with my mom and had the most beautiful baby in the world (the fact that her dad and I arent really buddy/buddy doesnt help with the depression). Even though she changed my life so much better that I could have ever asked for, my body is ruined, and I am back to being borderline morbidly obese (yuck, what a gross term). So now, I am trying my hardest to get back in shape and fix my life so my daughter and I can live happily without her overweight momma holding her back (plus there is nothing wrong with being the hot mom on the block). Well, that's my story and that is why I am starting atkins. If there are any comments anyone would life to make or quesitons about me, fell free. It's nice to hear from people like me and to hear their stories.
