| For exercise, anything! I took up dancing (salsa, to be specific) you'd never imagine, but an hour of continuous dancing breaks one into a real sweat! If you don't like running, try walking. Pick up the pace. You may not cover as many miles, but you'll be raising your heart rate and thats the important thing!

| Just start out with walking. It's a good workout, and you can pick up the pace as you progress. You can start small and work your way up. Welcome to this place, it's great! And remember, you can do it!!!! |

| Welcome! I myself don't mind running but was told by my personal trainer that I shouldn't be running, but fast paced walking instead. Based on my age (32), my heart rate should never go over 141. Anything over that and I would be burning muscle mass instead of the desired fat mass. I will run for about 2 minutes to get my heart rate up to the desired speed, but then switch over to walking. It takes me about 31 minutes to do a complete 2 miles. Hope this helps! |
