| Hi Kris, Good going on the exercise. Read the book and drink lots of water. I have been on atkins since August 2003. I have gained some weight back, but it is time for me to hit induction again. My downfall is Peanuts and diet Pepsi. My doctor told me to get off the caffine, it's not good for your bones. Oh, there is a second time around club too, check it out. | Hi Kris and welcome to ADBB and back to Atkins. Do you have a copy of Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002)? If not, you'll want to pick one up! It's amazing how quickly we can let ourselves fall back into old habits - sorry to hear about your weight gain. Great job on the planning and preparing though, and I'm the same way about planning/scheduling, it's another thing that makes me feel in control of myself...and that's not a bad thing! I agree with the food prep after the 2 weeks, it gets easier and easier to prepare the other foods for the family. And there's nothing wrong with the whole family eating better, even if they're eating whole foods you can't yet. Getting the processed/junk food out of the house completely will be the biggest help, it was to me! Hope to see you around the board!

| Hi Kris. Welcome back. This site is filled with lots of encouraging posts from people who are making Atkins work as a life-style change. Good luck on making this WOE become a habit. There is a forum called the Second Time Around Club...which you might find helpful. Good luck and please keep us posted. Make sure you read the book, drink lots of water, don't forget your supplements and exercise. It won't be long and you'll be at goal and feeling great!!
