Hi there - I am new to this discussion board, although not new to low-carbing. I happen to love eating low-carb, and have followed both Atkins & South Beach, but I do prefer Atkins. I am starting Atkins once again as I am leaving for a cruise with my parents in approximately 2 months so hope to look better in our family portrait and have enough energy to enjoy myself. I am hoping to lose 20 lbs by the trip, but would be happier with more. In total I need to lose 110 lbs so will take it a day at a time.

I have heard great things about this discussion board and am excited to become a member Good luck all!
