Hey there everybody. I just wanted to post a note to introduce myself and tell ya alittle bit about me. My name is Rachael and I'm no stranger to the Atkins Diet. I was hardcore Atkins back in 00'-01'. I lost right at 100lbs and never felt better in my life. My highest weight was 280lbs and I had lost to 187lbs. Over the past five years I have gone through some very emotional and struggling times in my life, which left me at the mercy of food. I have to admit it, yes I'm an emotional eater. I have gained almost all of the weight back that I worked so hard to lose. However, things are looking up in my life once again. I have finially finished school and I'm engaged to the most wonderful man that I have ever known. Our wedding will be this November. I want to lose the weight not only for my wedding, but for myself. The extra weight is especially hard on me due to the fact that I am wheelchair bound, and have to lug around over half my body weight every single day. It has been a little difficult for me to get strict with Atkins this go around, so i'm asking for everyone's prayers and support. I have been reading the postings on here and everyone seems to give such great encouragement, and the before and after pictures of people are an inspiration. Thank you for letting me ramble on, and on. LOL
