| I would not worry about your Caloric intake especially during Induction. There is certainly enough time to address it later if and when it becomes an issue. During Induction, just focus on what the plan says to eat and the correct amounts, and you should be fine. As for sodium, as long as you don't go over board and go over the daily limit you should be fine. Water retention can be an issue if you do, which can of course delay your weight loss. Just keep drinking your water, and it should be less of an issue.

OMG don't mention calorie counting on this board. LOL, it seems to be a hotly debated topic. I understand your concern about sodium intake though . At this point I wouldn't worry about counting either, just follow the plan and see what happens. If at some point you start to retain water you might want to use fitday and see what your sodium levels are and reduce them. Thats the beauty of Atkins, all we count are carbs and if you follow the acceptable food list, I don't think you can get over 20 carbs. Hummmm good question for 2big.

| Hi and welcome! Just follow the rules of induction (or whatever level of Atkins you're on!), drink your water, take your supplements and exercise and you will be successful. Glad to have you here. |
