I'm back...this time it's for real!

Hey everyone...

I was here for a bit in January, but I caved! Anyway, after seeing my mother-in-law on a 500-800 low cal diet, I decided that there were way more yummy ways to go about losing weight, so I am back and totally stoked. Here's my story, hope it isn't too long for ya'll...

So, I have always been the big girl of the group. Probably since grade school, actually. At a size 12, I met my hubby and he is a bottomless pit. Now mind you, he is a long distance runner and only 125 lbs, soaking wet. Well, our diet of frozen pizza and McDonald's (or McDiarrea, as we call it) didn't change him at all, but by the time we got married a year later, I was in a size 20 wedding dress! I hate our wedding pictures. Anyway, 1 miscarrige, 2 kids, and 2 rounds of Atkins later, here I am in all my flubby glory. Last time I tried, I was bombarded by non-believers, hospitalized kids, and the debut of my own business. Well, this is the last time. I'm sick of dreaming, and ready to make it happen.

I want to wear shorts, heck, I wanna look semi-hot in a swim suit! I wanna run with my husband. I wanna play with my kids. I wanna be a picture of self control for my tae kwon do students. I don't wanna look like a number 10 when my hubby and I stand next to each other! I want to enjoy the intamacy of my marriage WITH THE LIGHTS ON!!!!!! I wanna live longer. I love fashion, and I wanna be able to wear it and look great! I wanna be healthy, and I don't want to be a heart patient. I am also looking forward to the shopping money my hubby has promised when I reach my mini-goals! So, for all of those reasons and more, I am here, and I am here to stay!

And you're so right, Atkins does have the a lot of GREAT food!

I love the reasons for losing the weight...your health and family! And a cute outfit and looking hot doesn't hurt either! whoohoo!
