| Hi Cinnamon! I started at the exact same place as you. I had bad knees and stairs were murder for me. My advice is to exercise as much as you can, do the program as Dr. Atkins suggests in his book and never give up. You can do this. I can tell you that it is soooo worth the effort. Don't look back. Past mistakes in diets are behind you. Look ahead at the wonderful new you, energy and positive self esteem! We are all here for you. Check out all the forums and the issues that are here to help support you as you get healthy and fit. Best wishes!!!
