New to ADBB not new to atkins

It all started in 2001. My mom went from 225 pounds to an astonishing 125 pounds all in the matter of one year! And a few years after that in Janurary of 06 I decided that I would to start my weight loss with the help of Atkins. My mom had the whole diet planned out from when she did it. I had been dieting for about 5 months before and had seen quite a lot of results. I went from 214 pounds to 185. I started atkins at 185 pounds and I ended up at 155 pounds. Without budging I gave up. I moved out of my parents house and slowly stopped my amazing diet because I didnt see results. Its been almost 2 months now since I have been eating whatever I feel like it. I even tried Weight Watchers but after only one week I felt so hungry and only lost one pound.

As of last week I had finally decided that I need to get back on this diet. My goals are not that far away at five foot my goal weight is 125 pounds. I currently live with my boyfriend and I want him to be able to have all the sweet treats that he wants when hes home but its so difficult to not eat them. I find it difficult to communicate the problems having treats in the house. But I hope that today is the begining of me finally completing my weight loss goal.

I have read this community many many times before joining and its a very insiprational one. I hope to one day include exercise into my lifestyle. I always look back and wonder when I was younger what changed to make me so inactive. What is it that was so different that made me the vegtable I am today.

Well I am done feeling fat. I am done eating crap. Its time I move on to better and more happy things!

Hi Silver! Glad you dound us and decided to join up. You are right, this is a great forum with tons of support. You should also check out the journal chats section. It's a good way to let out the frustration and make new friends!
