| Hi Tanya, welcome! My stats are very similar to yours. Atkins is a great way of life (WOL) and I'm so pleased with my success so far (just under 5 months and have lost 56 lbs!) The health benefits are great too....my acid reflux is GONE, I have TONS of energy, my body is happy and so is my mind. Fatigue is to be expected while you are detoxing from all the carb laden food you used to eat. It will pass in a few days, one morning you will wake up totally revitalized with an abundance of energy! I love the banner in your signature!! LOL

| After the first few days you might feel achy and sore and sort of flu'ish, but that will pass, and the energy will strike! I can't wait to hear about how this helps your medical condition! It sounds like it's doing something good for it already! Grats on passing your first day, hang in there, and you will love the results!

| Thanks so much for the warm welcome guys. And I just have to mention how AMAZING you guys look. I was a big time carb eater. Addicted to the stuff. I suppose this kind of thing is to be expected. It's actually pretty scary when you think about it--how dependent our bodies can get to certain foods. Today I woke up feeling a lot better--but sweating. I have yet to test my blood sugar, but usually when I wake up I am feeling horrible. I can't wait to be in that place Joy described: "one morning you will wake up totally revitalized with an abundance of energy!" <--I definately want that to happen soon! ^.^ |

| Welcome!!!! I have been on introduction for 10 days now. I was very tired my first few days and I had a headache for 6 days. I started feeling better when i went and got supplements!!! I have tons of energy now!! Probably more than I need.. . Each day will get better, I promise. Take one day at a time and start each day with a positive outlook. This is what I do. Each day that I make it cheat free is a BIG PAT on the back for me. So far NO cheat days!!If you can today...Go get Supplements!!

| Welcome aboard Tanya, You have come to the right place. I have been here since March and I have changed my addiction from carbs to ADBB (www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com) If you want to make a change and you being here shows you do, this board can help you in so many ways. Read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution if you haven't already and keep the book close so that you can refer back to it often. When you go to different forums make sure to read the sticky's. They will be listed at the top. And most importantly READ THE LABELS OF EVERYTHING YOU EAT. If I can help in any way please just ask. Good luck and we're happy your here. |
