| It's hard to say for certain. Everyone's bodies are different. I will venture to say that if you continue to eat healthy and exercise, you will seriously reduce the chance of regaining the weight. I would recommend you consider following the maintenance phase of Atkins. The elimination of carbs have played a huge part in our weight loss and could prove the be the proverbial Achilles' heel if increased too much. I would definitely advise close monitoring of your weight and inches as you come off of it. If there is any gain then resume Atkins and try a diffrent approach. Anyone else have any input on this? |

| Hey, welcome. Atkins has planned for every phase of our lives (food wise) and if you follow his advise, starting with induction, adding Carbs back gradually on the OWLadder, then going to PreMaintenance and finally Maintence, you will stay healthy and not repeat not gain the weight back. While you progress you will learn which foods cause you to gain, it may be when you add grains back or when you add dairy. The point is this isn't just a diet, its a way of life to keep us thin. So, get the book, library probably has a copy, and read it and it will explain all those questions Also, stick with us, kiddo, and you will be a superstar |
