Good evening everyone, I would like to introduce myself. I am the girl that in high school discovered the comfort of cookies. lol. Really I am here because I am finally excited about loosing weight and wanting to make myself happy. Everyone has a defining moment in their life and mine was last week. I decided that it was time to forget that I had tried a million and one times to loose weight and that not dropping 10 pounds the first week was okay. This time is my last time to loose weight. I am going to do it with a smile on my face, fight through the headaches and keep going until I can sit in a meeting cross my legs and smile like I just won a million dollars because I know what I means to battle hard and win a prize as valuable as my health. Thank you ladies! I know everyone has their story, but it is amazing how life can through you lemons and when needed you can make lemonade. I personally have moved 5 hours away from my family (parents, sister, grandparents and dog) took on a new job, started working on my doctoral and somewhere along the way fell in love with a wonderful man who has been the most wonderful thing that has happened to me in my personal life. Needless to say he has been asked to go to Iraq in September for a year....... Well my dream is to surprise him with a beautiful, healthy, blonde at the end of the tunnel at the airport. I pray that this website as well as what seems to be wonderful people here can help me keep my eyes focused on the light at the end of the tunnel and not the chocolate in the candy aisle.
