| Welcome back, Lisa! I am in the same position as you ~ i was doing awesome on Atkins last year June thru October, and then gradually slipped back into my old habits and eventually found myself gaining back 17 of the 50 pounds i had lost! I was just horrified. I came back to the board, about a month ago, and now i am 3 pounds away from where i left off last time. It is going much slower this time around, but it isn't a race, i have to remind myself that! Come check out the Second Time Around Club forum! And good luck to you!

| Thank you Dragonflymoon for your encouraging words! I have around 7 pounds to lose until I am back to where I was. It's funny how 7 pounds doesn't sound like much, but I can feel it in my clothes. I remember when I was nearer 160 pounds how much looser my clothes felt. I'll check out the Second Time Around club...good luck to you as well!

| Hi - welcome back. I think I remember seeing you here when I was in induction. Since going to OWL, I've found it harder to control portion sizes as it seems I don't feel full as soon with the higher carb levels. I've decided to stay with modified OWL, so can still eat the extra foods, but with less carbs, plus I serve my meals in tea saucers and dip bowls, and make myself wait if thinking of seconds. Be glad you came back before you gained all your losses back with interest (that happened to me several times). It isn't worth it to stray very far from this WOE, because each time it's harder to loose.

| Hi Boonie stomper, You are right about it not being a good idea to stray from the Atkins WOL, it does make things harder. I has really helped though coming back here to the ADBB. I thought I would start atkins again tomorrow, but decided it would make the transition more difficult to put it off. I bought a deli sandwich earlier for lunch, and I threw the bread out. What was left was roast beef, lettuce, tomato and mayo (plenty for a lunch!). So I'm starting now, not later! Thanks for your thoughts!
