Default Not Losing Weight

Someone please help. My name is Claire and I need to lose about 60 lbs. I have been on Atkins for 3 weeks. I got through one week of induction then cheated so I started over. This Fri the 18th will mark my 2 week induction phase. I have not lost any weight. I realized that I was unknowingly drinking diet drinks with Aspartame and I had some sugar free-lo carb candies but this is all I had done. I have changed that now but i am still not seeing any results. Does anyone have any advice? I am really discouraged!
Any insight and info would be excellent.

Claire

Hey Claire, Welcome aboard. Glad you found us and joined.
There are tons of reasons that you might not be losing, and one is sugar free, low carb candies. Sugar alcohol can be the kiss of death on this diet.
1. How much do you need to lose
2. What are you eating, List everything that you ate yesterday and let the experts take a look
3 What and how much exercise are you doing.
4 How much water have you been drinking
5. Have you read the book Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution and are you eating enough, to much.
Dont get discouraged, keep asking questions. Youll be a goalee soon

Hi claire, im actually new here. Look losing weight takes time, you really cant see any results in a short period of time. If you're really serious on your goal of losing 60 lbs. then you should work hard on it, proper diet, good exercise and self discipline is the answer. Im sure you already know that right?..
but sometimes people needs to be told a hundred times for them to save it in their hearts.

Welcome Claire. Glad to see you join us. First of all, please do read the book. If you know how this program works and what to eat while on induction, then you'll be able to follow it better. If it isn't listed on the acceptable foods list, then it isn't allowed.

You also must combine water, exercise and supplements with the foods you eat so that your body will be working properly. Have you measured? That also helps to see the inches melting when we don't see weight loss each weigh-in.

TOM and salt intake may be causing you to retain water. Keep a diary of your foods, emotions, and daily routine. This will allow you to see what might be jeopardizing your WOE. Read, participate and learn from the forums. There is so much information that will help keep you motivated and knowledge to help you plan your success.

We are all here cheering you on! You can do it.
