| Thank you! I do feel pretty good. That will be my first *mini goal*!!! Then on to the next one... i find that i have to break it up into smaller goals because the "big picture" is so overwhelming to me!

| Just wanted to offer a quick update and bit of encouragement to those who are starting out. I've been on Atkins for about 2 1/2 weeks. Am on extended induction now, easing into OWL. I've lost 10 lbs, and am AMAZED at how NOT HUNGRY I am! I'm really not having any problem passing on bread and pasta and sweets and all that naughty stuff. And I'm telling you, this is coming from a MAJOR carb-aholic!! Plus, I just started walking, with the goal of walk/running a half marathon at the end of March. I'm feeling great! So, if it's your first few days and you're struggling, stick with it! The folks here are huge help... and this way of eating REALLY works! Good luck and take care!
