| I can't believe I'm saying this... the hard corers around here would be proud of me... but I recommend you read the book. This diet doesn't work when you just "avoid bread, pasta, and sweets" -- there are very strict rules to be followed. Your diet should be 65% fat, 30% protien, and 5% carbs. But, not just any fat and carbs... read the book. Or, at a minimum, go to Atkins.com and read (and follow) the induction food list...

| You should keep your fats at about 65% of your calories during the first couple of weeks. If your not losing, post your menus and the experts will take a look.
