Default Returning to Atkins

My name is Yvonne and I originally started Atkins in 2005 and lost 45 pounds. I then did my own thing and lost another 15 pounds over the last year. In the past 3 months though I have gained 12 pounds back and I wanted to get in line for the holidays so I don't run WILD! I know that I can follow this plan until I reach my goal wieght of 142. I have always been successful with this plan as long as I don't get bored. I exercise regulary and just started a spinning class. I was scared to death and it took me 10 days of thinking before I went to my first class. I did enjoy it and will continue with it 2 days per week. My lifestyle has dramtically changed. I did not exrecise 2 years ago, and I ate very poorly! I now know that I will succeed and be able to maintain. I was happy with my current loss until the recent gain and I got right back into it and started. I know that I have to commit to this as a lifestyle and now I am ready.

I look froward to to my second time around with all of you and your help. I also look forward to sharing anything I can with all of you!

Welcome, yep! Sounds like you already know how well this WOE works, and how great it can make you feel. As a "second time arounder," you may want to look at the STAC forum (Second Time Around Club).

That's great about the spin class! Isn't it fun taking on new challenges? And better yet, finding exercise that feels more like fun than drudgery!

Congratulations and welcome! Look around the board -- there's lots of neat stuff to get involved in and keep you motivated. Take care, and I look forward to reading of your progress around the board. Come back often!
