The book, Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution also has a variety of recipes and case studies that will help you stay motivated. If you haven't read it, it will help you make your own individual plans for succeeding! You can do it, we are all here sharing with each other so that we can all reach our goals! | Hi Kathy, you've found a great board here--lots of information and recipes, plus helpful people to talk to. Once you've read up on what you're supposed to be eating, post a few menus so we can let you know if anything needs tweaking...and remember to drink lots and lots of water! Best of luck...

| Hi Kathy - I've been following this WOE (way of eating) since end of July. I started following all the advice on this board and doing what they told me, and wa la... my life has totally changed for the better. I POP out of bed in the morning, I eat WONDERFUL foods, and I have great blood tests results. All thanks to this board. So, I'd recommend poking around in the various forums. Reading all the FAQ's (a link on the the top menu) and digging in. On top of all of that wonderful stuff, there are so many people here that can help you by answering questions, motivating you, or lending an ear. Enjoy!!! It's a great WOL (way of life)! Welcome! | Hiya Kath - I'm new too I've been on Atkins since last Friday, weighed myself this Monday and had lost 4lbs!! It really does work - get stuck in!! So, not gonna weigh myself till next Monday now and see what happens (if I can control my urge to hop on the scales every time I pass them of course lol) |

| Hi Kathy I've done slimming world before and find Atkins so much easier to follow!!
