| Hi Cindy. Welcome to the ADBB. I've tried all the 'diets' out there and until I found this program and committed to a new way of living and thinking about myself and foods, I was never able to lose weight successfully. You've come to the right place. Everyone here is very supportive and encouraging. | Thanks For the Welcome. I am trying hard not to eat any non legal foods. About the only thing that I have that might be frowned upon is liquid stevia and I am pretty sure I have more than 3 servings a day, but I really need it for tea and coffee and I even put in water because I can not stand plain water. It does not have the calorie containing fillers in it that the packets do and I still have been able to loose with it so I won't try to cut down just yet. I had real trouble loosing at first, then after reading the chapter on candidia I have tried those suggestions and it seems that is when I started loosing. I cut way down on cheese and stopped eating mushrooms. Not sure if those were a problem but I started loosing after I did that. Also I have a cold and have not felt the greatest but I am just toughing it out and have not taken anything becasue I don't want to upset my body chemistry. This cold has lasted almost a week so surley it is almost over. Bye cindy |

| Cindy, Welcome to the board. I've been on Atkins for almost 2 months now. Be sure you stick to induction, you want your body to rid itself of any carb addictions. The has been so helpful for me. I still have a LONG way to go before I reach my ultimate goal but with the help of this board, I can do it one day at a time. Good Luck and God Bless. |
