| I have to say I am still cracking up over the "recomended cheese dose"I love how you put that!!! you actually eat better than most of the 27 year olds I am in close contact with including my own kids ...so good for you!!!!then if you want to know what fresh is you should prepare your own foods ..just stroll on the outside of the grocery store and avoid the center isles ..there you will find fresh veggies, meat, dairy and of course your "cheese dose" read the book move your body ..buy fresh foods... learn to cook and you will do fine

| so should i only eat when im hungry now or continue to eat small portions 5 to 6 times a day to keep the metabolism going. also does insulin effect stress levels (just within the past few hours ive noticed even when im telling my son not to do something i usually feel the heat inside if that makes sense but now i feel much calmer)its crazy.and the side pain is subsiding also ,its almost not there anymore, and all this happened since my last post. im in love with this process already and havent even past day 5 yet. |

| There is a diabetic forum on the board that may answer your question about insulin and stress. Whatever, if you're calmer when reprimanding your son, Woo Hoo, huh? The theory is to eat when you're hungry, but never go longer than 5 hours or so without food. Personally, I am a grazer eater so I do eat every few hours all day long! Just make sure you're having the 20 carbs per day during induction, and that you're not eating too little calories, which will stall your weight loss because your body will think you're starving it. Eat properly for your exercise needs. How great, to actually be able to say "I'm not even hungry!". You should post a picture over at the Before and Afters, you too will be a success story!

| If you're not hungry don't force yourself...but do have a snack after about six hours to keep your metabolism up... a few olives, or a square of cheese is enough. Induction flu is very normal and is just your body weaning itself off carbs. It should pass quite soon (mine lasted three days) and then, you'll find you suddenly feel great and have masses of energy.
