| Hi PinkRibbon... welcome to ADBB! Glad to hear you've decided to take the bull by the horns. Good to hear also, that you're doing some exercise which is fundamental to any weight loss plan. A tip: Do take your measurements. I never did at the beginning and regretted it so much. There are times when we can drop clothes sizes yet the scale remains the same. If your exercise is a new thing, you could be exchanging fat for muscle, which weighs heavier. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. We're rooting for you and here to help. THere are also lots of stickies to read about the correct way to do Atkins. Have you got a copy of DANDR 2002 edition? Understanding the science behind this way of eating is a tremendous help. Good luck! You'll do great, I'm sure... and soon you'll turn into that happy Mom that your kids deserve (though I'm sure you're actually already that!) Sal

| Hi Pinkribbon. Welcome to the BB. I totally agree with you that if we are happier with ourselves, we are better moms. I know this has been the case for me. Do take your measurements so you can be awed with the inches you drop as well as weight you lose. Also, take the time to make a plan for times when you are tempted with foods that trigger you to go off plan. If you have solutions to keep you from falling, it will be easier to say "no" and feel good about it. Best wishes....I look forward to hearing about your success!
