| Hi Doug and welcome! Congratulations on your tremendous success with Atkins! You lost a huge amount of weight and moved to far better health. Awesome. I'm glad the shakes worked for you... must say though, for any newbies reading this, some folk do have issues with bars and shakes. They stall many, many people. Good for you also, for maintaining. Isn't it great not to be one of the 'statistics' who regain all they've lost five minutes after reaching goal??? I applaud you!

| Portion control is what got me fat in the first place.I was never able to do it on my own.The shakes were my helper.I didn't have to think about what to eat. | Welcome to the board Doug! I agree with sallyseachange, usually the shakes stall many folks around here. For you, you've made some great lifestyle changes that will keep you healthy.

| I am sorry my weight loss method doesn't agree with the way you think. You are doing it far more perfectly than myself. This is sure an example of a strangle hold of old ideas on a message board. Nothing but your method will work and this idea is the only way. See ya Quote:
