| Hi Peaches and welcome to ADBB! You're probably suffering from what we call induction flu. It's very common and is when your body goes into withdrawal from carbs, at the beginning. After a few days you should begin to feel wonderful, with much more energy than you had before. Hang in there! It's soooo worth it!

| Welcome to induction flu, your body is just adjusting to this WOE, I had it too. It does pass in time, I am on week 3 and I am pretty much past it. Congrats on your loss and keep up the good work!!

| Withdrawal symptoms vary greatly..my worst one was sleeplessness for almost the full 2 weeks. It's a test....make sure you pass it! Q

| Welcome Peaches! Oh the joy of induction flu! Check with your Dr is you're worried about your blood pressure. The withdrawl your feeling really will go away, and you'll begin to feel wonderful soon! Like silly said, drink a lot of water, it helps to clean ya out and rid you of those withdrawls! Good luck to ya! Feel better quick!

| Embrace your atkins flu, the worse it is the less likely you will be to go off plan and face that again! Mine was really bad and it really did help keep me on track!
