| Hi Smushee and welcome to the board. This is a wonderful place for support and good low carb advice. It's nice that you came here via Kent's videos. Aren't they just so cool?! As for tips...well an important one would be that you should get hold of a copy of DANDR, if you haven't already. The 2002 edition is the one the board goes by as it was the last one Dr A wrote in its entirety. Understanding the science behind this way of eating is a huge help towards doing Atkins successfully. Hop over to the induction forum and read the stickies there. They are a big help. Here are a couple of useful links for someone starting out: Rules of induction: What are the Rules of Induction? | Welcome to the board Smushee! It's great to have you here. My tip, remember to eat your vegetables each day and drink the water. It really does help make you feel better. This is an easy diet... just try to keep most of your grocery shopping in the produce & meat areas. Last but not least, visit the before and after picture section! It's soooo inspiring!
