| Hi Nicole Welcome to ADBB! I'm new at this myself, so sorry I don't have the answers you're looking for as regards the nausea, although I'm sure I've read something regarding that in the Induction Forum. You should have a good look in there as there are many answers to be had for us newbies! It's great to hear you seem to be getting your blood sugar under control with Atkins and I'm certain that you'll soon begin to see a big difference in your weight if you stick with it! I'm sure you'll find, as I have, that everyone is very friendly and helpful and ready to offer advice and encouragement! The before and after pics are also a great inspiration...you should take a look and see some of the fantastic success stories! Good luck...look forward to hearing how you're doing Janet xx

| Hi O.2.Be.Fit! You've made a great choice coming back to Atkins (without the frosting The nausea you're feeling is common, many people experience flu-like symptoms for a few days after starting the Induction phase of Atkins...so no worries. I know it's hard to put a positive spin on a sick tummy, but it really is good news, it's part of the withdrawal process and you're that much closer to appetite suppression and energy! Check out the Induction Chapter, there's a chapter on addiction/withdrawal. Stay strong, you can do it!

| Hiya Nicole and welcome to ADBB! Congrats on starting minus frosting!! You've given yourself a wonderful gift by deciding to re-commit to Atkins. Your sugar levels will improve (well, they already have!!) and you'll soon be feeling fitter and more energised. The induction flu is a real pest, but it does only last a few days... one day soon you'll wake up feeling terrific! Hang in there... it's soooooo worth it. Nausea is probably part of the induction flu. Ask any questions that might crop up... we all understand and empathise, and of course are happy to help out when we can. Happy losing!

| 11 days! Good for you Nicole. Stick with it hon, it will get better. Each day makes it easier. Make sure you're eating enough, and make sure you're drinking lots of water. I have been very lucky never to get the induction flu when I started so long ago, so unfortunately I have nothing to compare it with for you. I do know that with what I've read in these forums, it will pass. And you know what, we'll be right here with each step of the way! These folks are so awesome here, they give the help and tough love when you need it! Good luck and keep us all posted!
