| Trace is fine! With the sticks, you're either in ketosis, or not. Generally the darker the color, the more water you need to drink as it could indicate dehydration. Gotta love the light pink!

| hi swan, I'm pretty new at this myself but i did do the ketostix and the scales do worry you alot. Have you measured yourself lately, I really got dissapointed a few times with the scale until I started measuring and seen dramatic changes. I also read that sometimes the ketostix may discourage you and the shades can be lighter on somedays expecially if you drink alot of water. DONT get discouraged it does work Make sure your taking multi vitamins.. I also take fish oil pills and potasium for my legs |

| You guys should both join us in the ADBB Vitamin thread. Lots of information from our very own Biogeek who is a wealth of knowledge on vitamins! http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...150#post625150

| Great job TSWAN It's so cool this thread was at the top. I had just come from testing using the stix and was slightly discouraged. I'd have to say mine was at least "trace". And based on some of the knowledge I've acquired here this week I haven't been doing the cleanest induction possible (aspartame in diet sodas, one to two cups of coffee a day, and a few frankenbars early in the week). That being said, I do intend on re-starting induction this weekend. Hopefully my caffiene withdrawal will pass by the time it's back to work on Monday. Keep up the good work fellow newbies. |

| Thanks for clearing up that misconception! I thought darker was better on the ketostix. It's good to know that trace will work. I havent started measuring myself yet because it's only been five days. However, my pants are looser, and that's a great motivator. I'm drinking a lot of water and a lot of Crystal Light! |

| FYI Crystal light has aspartame. Doesn't it? |

| Welcome Tswan! Glad you got through the "foggy" couple of days. Induction flu can be horrid. Keep us posted on how you get on. We're interested and rooting for ya!
