| First off, Congratulations on your little miracle bundle of joy!! 145 pounds is a LOT of weight to have lost and that is so awesome, and VERY inspirational to a lot of people on this board. A lot of us here are still struggling to get there...and it is so nice to hear from another person that we CAN do it! You are 110% right, they don't understand. You could have stayed on the maintanence portion of Atkins. In fact, my OB actually advised me to be mindful of my carbs while I was pregnant w/ DD. Not enought to lose weight, but make those healthy choices, ya know?? I TOTALLY understand where you are at w/ not having much support or people that understand. This is what is right for us...and we are all here for eachother...to support, keep eachother in line (thank God) and just to have people who understand...and believe me, we definately do. I know this was long, but WELCOME. I hope ADBB will be everything you hope and need it to be. I know it has been the single most reason I am still fighting for myself... | Thank You so much for your kind words Stephanie...I really wish I had known about staying on maintence while pregnant...that sure would have helped but no use in crying over spilled (heavy cream) lol I will be better than ever this go around... I have been on this time since Feb 5th 2007 and have lost 31lbs as of this morning...I am really happy and so grateful I have found this board |

| LOL. That's too funny. 31 pounds in a month and a half!! CONGRATULATIONS!! I have to tell you, it's so awesome to know that you have lost 145 pounds before and already 31 this go round w/ very little support. That just goes to show how much will power you have. That is VERY inspirational to me. I am glad you found this board as well, I hope we will become good friends on our journeys to reaching our goals. Have a great weekend!!

| Welcome Gentlerain (nice nic btw)! Glad you decided to join up with us here at ADBB. Congrats on your new (well relatively new after a year!) little one. Really hope this board gives you the support you lack elsewhere. You're so right... there are so many that don't understand because they've never "been there". Here on the board, we all understand. We're all coming from the same place... and we strive to encourage and support each other through the trials and tribulations of dieting,,, and of course to congatulate on our many successes. | Welcome gentle rain! Good to have you here. Sounds like you are doing awesome! Wow! 31 pounds already! I understand about people not understanding. I even had alot of harrassment from my extended family about incorporating exercise into my daily routine. They thought I was "obsessive" about it. 45 minutes of cardio a day and 3 sessions of weight lifting per week does not to me = excess. It is amazing how some will try and sabotage your successes. Don't you let 'em girl!

First off - Congrats on the beautiful little one, Second off - 31 pounds Off.....WOO HOO!!!! Good for you hon!!. We are very very happy to have you with us. Please make sure you jump around to the forums and make some posts. Don't forget to drink your water!! I love your mindset and dedication! Other people really feed (haha) on that around here. I draw so much energy from this board! I love welcoming new folks like yourself and getting the ball rolling.....heck, you don't need help to get the ball rolling....it's all down hill.....Good for you!!!
