| When you started the Induction did you keep a Food Diary? If you haven't been losing weight or inches for 4 wks then I would have to guess that you aren't following induction correctly. If I read what you wrote a face value then I would say you aren't getting enough veggies or fat in...make sure you are getting in at leas 3 cups of salad veggies or 2 cups sv and 1 cup of the other allowed veggies. Incorporate Olive oil into your cooking, use mayo and eat more cheese. Think back to that first week...how did you eat? Reread the DANDR on Induction for anything you might have missed. As for the pills you are taking I don't know what OoO is and I don't know what the Spit test is either. I know others will have better detailed advice but I would go back to the DANDR and get back to those basics and make sure you are getting enough of the veggies as required and the fats/oils/meats and cheeses. I would venture you aren't eating enough to burn so your body is holding.

| Hi Ragark and welcome aboard. Glad you found us here at ADBB. MissMel is right, your veggies and fats are very very important. You need those vitamins and you need to eat enough food so that your body doesn't go into starvation mode thus hindering weight loss. Do you have a copy of the book? If not, I'd strongly urge you to get hold of one. DANDR (Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution) 2002 edition, which is the one the board goes by, and the last one that Dr A wrote in its entirety. | Thanks everyone for your responses and support. Since I originally posted I weighed and lost 4 additional pounds. I will watch my intake more closely. I originally had a copy of the book but lost it in Katrina. I intend to get another in the next couple of days. |

| A preliminary check to see if you have a yeast build up, first thing in the morning before you do anything, you spit into a glass of water. Watch it for several minutes. If it grows legs or has a stream to the bottom and/or sinks, it is suppose to mean that you do. Your spit is suppose to float. |
