| Welcome back Aquaryus! It's great that you decided to re-commit to Atkins and better health. Don't worry about the past... just learn from it. Focus on the future and your goal and hop right back on the wagon. Be prepared with legal high fat snacks for when/if cravings hit. Drink your water and exercise... you know the ropes! You so can do this!

My name is Scooter, I have lost 73 pounds following this way of life. I had a slight detour at Christmas time, started with (1) one uno cookie, and 5 weeks later I'd put back on 14 pounds!!! I've since lost that plus some more, so don't roll those pretty eyes, it happens!! Anyway, I came back more focuses, more determined, and my fine friends here at ADBB asked me to host the Spotlight and welcome Newbies and ReStarter's such as yourself back into the spotlight! | Thanks everyone for your warm welcome! I did go to the gym last night as promised and I am going to walk again tonight. I felt really good after walking only a half mile and lifting some weights. I had been depressed over the past few days and I'm starting to think it's because I'm not active! We will see how my mood changes as I go through this. Those 70 pounds I lost before was done with very light excersize, I can only imagine what it would have been if I would have done more instense training. I also remember feeling good emotionally. I am definately going to use this board as a tool again and not be ashamed of a slip up, if it happens. Thanks again! |

| hi and WELCOME! you are gonna LOVE it here!!! i am pretty new myself but i checked out this site and decided to STAY because the folks here are the GREATEST!~ don't look backward....just look ahead. what do you have to look forward to? feeling better than you ever have before and great health.....lost weight is a nice added benefit! here is a little advice my mama always shared with me....do it (anything you have in mind ) for YOU....YOU are SOOOOOO worth it! stick with this board kiddo. you can do anything you put your mind to...we are so much stronger than we think! |

| Welcome. We're glad you've joined us. Having a support group that cares about you and encourages you to succeed is the best motivator to keep you focused. I don't think you are lazy...just adapting to starting a new Way of Life. (WOL). Get a plan developed that will work into your schedule and keep reminding yourself how good it makes you feel and how great you're going to look. Come here often, get active in the forums, join the challenges (20/24 is a great way to start - in the challenge forum) and make friends with those who are doing it. Best wishes. Keep us posted on your progress.
